Georgetown University Premed Enhancer and Master’s Programs

For applicants who already completed their premed prerequisite coursework and want to improve their GPA, Georgetown offers the following programs:

• Special Masters Program (SMP) offered by the Georgetown University Medical Center Department of Pharmacology & Physiology
• Georgetown Experimental Medical Studies Program (GEMS) program offered by the Georgetown University School of Medicine

Additionally, for those students who want to enhance their GPA through graduate coursework and develop a special skill set, Georgetown Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) housed in the Graduate School offers a number of one year Master’s programs for pre-health students including:

• Master’s in Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences
• Master’s in Systems Medicine
• Master’s in Physiology
• and others.
